Newly Released On Amazon: Rise Up And Walk
Rise Up and Walk is a stand‑alone trauma memoir about choosing faith in the aftermath of pain, loss, and the long, uneven work of healing. It is not part of the Rising From The Ashes trilogy, it is the next chapter of my life, written from a place of spiritual awakening and forward movement.
This book does not rely on dramatic embellishment. Its strength comes from truth, the kind of truth that survivors, believers, and anyone walking through grief or trauma will recognize immediately.
After years of trauma recovery, navigating the grief of losing my step-daughter, feeling the impact of estrangement from my daughters, and fighting through the effects of a traumatic brain injury, I reached a point where emotional healing alone was not enough. I needed spiritual healing. I needed direction. I needed God.
Rise Up and Walk is the story of what happened when I finally stopped trying to heal on my own strength and began moving forward in faith.
This memoir explores:
the slow, sacred work of healing
the emotional weight of grief
the rebuilding of identity after trauma
the spiritual awakening that changed everything
the daily choice to rise, even when broken
the restoration, renewal, calling, and legacy of the healed
This is not a retelling of past trauma, it is the story of what comes after. The rising. The walking. The forward motion.
I wrote Rise Up and Walk because healing is not a moment, it is a walk.
A long one. A painful one. A holy one.
I wrote this book because:
grief reshaped my life
trauma tried to define my future
faith became my anchor
God called me forward
I needed to rise, even when I did not feel ready
